Professional Legal Services
Initial Consultation: Review and analysis of court documents and your current legal situation. Insight given into the legal process, advise on options available to you and recommendations regarding your future course of action. Flat fee of $100 charged for up to an hour of attorney time in reviewing documents and meeting with you to discuss the case; additional fees at attorney regular rate will be charged for time spent beyond the initial hour. For Family Law cases, if, at the time of the initial consultation, you retain the firm to represent you, the initial one hour $100 consultation fee is waived. For Criminal Defense cases, the initial one hour consultation fee is waived. Consultations may be in person, over the telephone or by email exchanges. Scope of further legal assistance, if needed, will be discussed during the consultation. Family Law Consultation Intake Form Consultation General Intake Form Extended Consultation: Consultation regarding your situation and legal proceedings on an as needed basis while your case progresses. Legal services are billed at the attorney’s regular hourly rate and are paid at the time services are rendered. Limited Representation: Assistance with drafting legal documents and advice on proceeding in the case while representing yourself (pro se). With limited representation, the Firm does not enter its appearance in the legal proceedings as your attorney, but you have the peace of mind in knowing the Firm will be available to undertake legal representation in your case if it becomes necessary. Legal services are billed at the attorney’s regular hourly rate and are paid as the time services are rendered. Limited Appearance: Legal assistance and representation for the purpose of a single event – for example: a court hearing to contest jurisdiction, protection or restraining order, prosecution or defense of contempt proceedings (civil only); negotiations; settlement conference; mediation session; or similar limited legal representation and involvement directly in your case. The Firm may need to enter its appearance in the legal proceedings to provide the requested services and will withdraw after the services have been completed. A retainer is required that must to be replenished as fees and expenses are drawn against or paid from the retainer fund. Full Representation: The Firm will enter its appearance as your legal counsel in the legal proceedings, or will initiate the case on your behalf, and provide legal services on an ongoing basis until the case is resolved (does not include a post-trial appeal, which is a separate matter). A retainer is required that must to be replenished as fees and expenses are drawn against or paid from the retainer fund. |
